2021 FREAK-FOLK/SPOKEN WORD

Republic of Geordieland is a kind of B-side and misfit collection by North English folk artist Richard Dawson. To be straight to the point this is Mr. Dawson’s least coherent and simply his lowest quality release, if you are not a fan of his you should skip it. I can admit that his gnarly take on folk is not for everyone but it is undeniable that even singular tracks by him contain more creativity and raw energy than a decades worth of throwaway contemporary worshipping bullshit that has engulfed the genre in an age so backwards and stagnant it has no comparison. But I will gush about Mr. Dawson brilliance on an actual review, just give this man some damn money, there can be no value placed on the pure beauty he has thanklessly spilled upon this trash heap but today $6.49 will have to do. Oh and a very fine horse has some broad appeal, at least give that track a go.
